ECNext provides a wide range of content licensing options, payment methods and pricing and promotional capabilities enabling our customers to select and configure a set of revenue collection options matching their business needs.

Subscription Licensing Model
The subscription content licensing option supports the sales and management of online subscriptions including:
Online subscription sales and registration
Automated generation of email renewal notices
Automatic renewal processing

It can be deployed to support subscription access to newsletters and other periodicals, news services, commercial web portals, and report bundles.

Supports both individual subscriptions with one user per account and corporate subscriptions where multiple users are tied to a corporate account.

Pay-per-view Licensing Model
The pay-per-view option supports one time licensing and delivery of reports and articles (and any type of digital file.) The ECNext platform also supports fractional pay-per-view licensing for selling complete reports, or individual chapters or sections of reports. This feature provides publishers of high-valued reports the ability to set a lower price point for segments, opening up a new Web buyer markets.

Database "pay-per-query" licensing supports the one-time purchase and delivery of ad hoc database query results.

Mixed Licensing Models
Many customers choose to support a mixture of subscription and pay-per-view licensing models. For instance, archives for newsletter sold via a subscription model can be made available on a pay-per-view basis thereby generating a new revenue stream over and above the subscription revenue and also creates an opportunity to up-sell archive pay-per-view buyers a subscription.

Our solution includes Web shopping cart and checkout options for online sales and credit card transaction support as well as support for "offline" pre-paid account and open account payment methods.

My Account Feature
The My Account area provides the Web customer a tool enabling them to view and edit their account information. Additionally they are able to view transaction histories, access online receipts and view current balances of pre-paid accounts and open accounts.

Credit Card Accounts
Credit card accounts enable individual or corporate customers to charge product purchases to their credit card online. We support the following credit card types:

Visa
MasterCard
American Express
Diners Club

Pre-paid Accounts
Pre-paid accounts provide a way for our customers to accept lump sum pre-payments and then charge multiple purchases against the pre-paid account balance.

Open Accounts
Also called "bill me later" accounts with zero beginning balance and is allowed to have a negative balance to a pre-determined limit.

ECNext's e-commerce solution also supports very flexible product packaging and pricing schemes.

Product Bundles
The ECNext platform supports the creation of new products that consist of bundles of items. For instance, a bundle might consist of a set of reports and perhaps a news service or newsletter on a particular topic. An online interface is provided to specify descriptions and pricing for each bundle.

Promotional Pricing
The ECNext platform supports promotions that implement a percentage or dollar amount discount for a product or group of products. Promotions may be effective for a one-time purchase or for all purchases of the relevant items within a specified time period. The purchaser can provide a promotion code at registration or checkout time, or the code can be implemented automatically based on information provided in referring links in emails, web banners or promotional web pages.

Related Items Cross-sell
Ability to offer the Web buyer a list of products that are related to a product he or she is viewing. Presented to the buyer in the context of “If your interested in Product A, you may be interested in these related Products …”

ECNext’s Offline Subscription Management module provides a way for customers to manage direct offline (non-web based) subscription sales and subscribers. It provides a direct sales or telesales rep a tool for activating new subscribers and identifying, promoting and renewing offline subscribers pending renewal.
